1. Purpose
These terms cover the sale of digital technical watchmaking documents, pre-owned watches and the booking and organisation of private lessons.
2. Digital documents
Each purchase covers one PDF in the explicitly selected language.
3. Private lessons
Open schedule slots can be booked directly on the website. A slot is temporarily held during payment and the booking becomes final after Stripe confirms payment. Packages or specific requests are still arranged directly before the lesson.
4. Pre-owned and vintage watches
Watches offered by SECONDE MARCHE are pre-owned items, often old or vintage. They may show normal wear, marks, cosmetic variations or age-related characteristics. Known defects, particular features and work carried out are described on the product page and the photographs form part of that description. No additional commercial warranty is granted, without prejudice to mandatory statutory guarantees, including the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects.
5. Price and payment
Prices are shown in euros. The reference lesson rate is €25 per hour, with packages shown on the dedicated page. A digital order, a watch order or an online lesson-slot booking becomes final after Stripe confirms payment.
6. Watch delivery
Watches are shipped using the delivery method offered at checkout. On receipt, the buyer should immediately inspect the apparent condition of the parcel and the watch and promptly report any visible anomaly, ideally with photographs of the parcel, packaging and contents. Where the carrier is proposed by SECONDE MARCHE, the risk of loss or damage remains with the seller until the buyer or a designated third party takes physical possession. If the buyer independently chooses a carrier not proposed by SECONDE MARCHE, risk transfers when the item is handed to that carrier.
7. Digital delivery
After payment confirmation, a personal unique link permits one download.
8. Withdrawal
For digital content supplied immediately, the buyer must expressly request immediate access and acknowledge loss of the withdrawal right where applicable by law. For watches purchased at distance, the statutory withdrawal right applies under the conditions laid down by French consumer law, unless a legal exception applies.
9. Statutory guarantees for watches
Pre-owned watches benefit from the statutory guarantees applicable to sales by a professional to a consumer. The legal guarantee of conformity may be invoked for two years from delivery; for a second-hand item, the presumption that a defect existed at delivery applies for twelve months. Characteristics, defects or wear expressly disclosed to and accepted by the buyer before purchase cannot be relied upon as conformity defects in the circumstances provided by law. Contact.
10. Intellectual property
Purchase of a document grants a personal consultation right. Resale and public distribution are prohibited unless authorised.
11. Liability
Documents and lessons are educational and documentary resources. Watchmaking operations later carried out by the user remain the user’s responsibility.
12. Claims
Contact: use the secure form on the website.
13. Personal data
Data is used to fulfil sales, organise lessons and answer requests.
14. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law.
