What you should know
Soviet mechanical watch bearing the inscriptions “Wostok”, “18 JEWELS” and “MADE IN USSR” on the dial. It therefore clearly belongs to the Soviet period rather than post-1991 Russian production.
The cream dial is in very good overall condition with a few light age-related marks. The chrome-plated case also presents very well. The navy-and-red NATO strap is recent and not original.
The exact movement still needs confirmation: the 18-jewel marking narrows the possibilities considerably, but I would not enter a precise reference in the commercial listing without a photograph of the movement.
